On Remembrance Sunday (Nov 11th 2018), a series of choral concerts will begin to mark the centenary of the 1918 influenza pandemic.  Sunday MASSive combines Samoan dance and specially-written theatrical scenes with performances of Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius and the Requiem settings by Verdi and Brahms. These heartfelt tributes to the millions of victims around the world will take place in the hallowed halls of the National Army Museum in Chelsea. In particular, we honour those who ended up in mass graves, robbed of individuality and the dignity of a proper burial: they are gone but not forgotten.
